Fidan Solutions

Hi, I'm Doğuhan Fidan.

I am a Master's student of Political Science at the University of Freiburg and was a Research Assistant (2021-2023) at the Chair for Comparative Politics for Prof. Dr. Uwe Wagschal.

My research focus includes, but is not limited to, the areas of political psychology and communication, citizen partcipation, voting behavior with a focus on local referendums as well as sociology. Interested in more details? Check out an extensive list of all my research.

I also designed and occasionally built Front-End software solutions for the department of Comparative Politics. Moreover, I also enjoy producing songs whenever I can find the time.

Below is a (small) selection of my most recent projects that that should give you a good idea of my work.

Project: Debat-O-Meter

Description: Debat-O-Meter is a browser app developed collaboratively by the Chair for Comparative Politics and the Chair for Computer Architecture at the University of Freiburg. One of my tasks was to design and code an entirely new and mobile friendly webpage catered to the needs of the app's users.

Project: SurWay

Description: SurWay is an initiative portfolio project which I designed and developed for the Chair for Comparative Politics at the University of Freiburg. The aim of this portfolio is to showcase the most important projects of the department in a minimalistic and simplistic way.
